Jazlyn Dukes is a digital game artist who currently lives and works in Orlando, Florida, USA. Being mixed race and born in Puerto Rico, Jazlyn has drawn inspiration from her family, their culture, and her environment. Having grown up with access to video games, consoles, and animated films, their love and fascination with computer graphics naturally drew Jazlyn toward visual art; specifically 3D modeling and animation.
Jazlyn is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a B.F.A. in Emerging Media: Experimental Animation and a B.A. in Digital Media: Game Design with a minor in Latin American studies. Jazlyn has entered the industry by interning at indie game studio T’sare LLC and animation studio PELEA Animation. Jazlyn has also participated in three game jams so far; two through UCF and one through the city of Orlando’s public library system. Jazlyn has approached game development from a variety of different roles including art, programming, design, and project management.
When Jazlyn is not working on developing video games, she is outside enjoying life to the fullest.
